You may have seen the news last week that our new pricing will launch at the end of this month. Our team has been working on this for the better part of this year and we’re looking forward to rolling it out. We believe that one of the key success factors with our new pricing will be the ability to optimize. In this video, John Toskey, Head of Publisher Development for North America, talks about some actions you can take to make the most of the new pricing. “There are a few things you should be ready to do to make more money in the new program,” says Toskey. “The first is making sure that you’re taking advantage of the tracking we provide. There are two parameters that we offer through our interface: the first is Campaign ID and the second is Custom ID. You can use these parameters to help target and optimize the traffic heading to eBay.” John also calls out the improvements to the Transaction Download Report:
“The second thing you’ll want to do is use the Transaction Download Report to get additional data,” continues Toskey. “A couple of months ago we added a new field to indicate the frequency of the customers you’re sending to us. Using that data you can understand when and how you’re earning significant bonuses for sending us new and reactivated buyers.”
